Right to Write
Have a story in you waiting to break free? Do you wish you did? Kids ages 10-13 can join us for inspiration and a safe place to explore ideas.
We’re all writers, and we all have stories to tell — join us and discover yours!
Throughout the month of March, the Library will be host to a Creative Writing Group for 10-13 year olds every Wednesday, 3:30-4:30pm. Although, if your child is interested but doesn’t quite fall within that age range, don’t hesitate to contact us about the possibility of them joining.
Long-time educator Jennifer Delozier will lead kids through different forms of writing with various prompts, while providing participants with the support necessary to get their ideas on paper. Writing can be funny or serious, and sharing is always optional.
Space is limited, so don’t delay! Please contact the Youth Department to register your child: firstname.lastname@example.org or 413-529-1605.
To allow our staff to receive important training, the Library will not open until NOON on Wednesday, February 22.
