1st Ever Pokemon Club!
Feb 20 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

A special edition of what will become an ongoing event here at the Library… Join us this February Vacation to help kick off Pokemon Club! In addition to some Pokemon-related activities, participants will help shape the future of the club by brainstorming ideas for what our meetings should look like, and what kinds of fun things we can incorporate into them.

Please still bring your device if you play Pokemon GO (6-hour lures will still be in effect!) or your cards/games if you want to show them off. Recommended for ages 6 & up.

Baby Time with Moira!
Feb 21 @ 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Visit the Library with your little one and share some quality time together. These events will feature lively music and movement, as well as collaborative play, to strengthen the parent/child bond and stimulate their growing minds. Recommended for ages 0-15 months.

Weaving Wednesdays
Feb 21 @ 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Have you seen the blanket on our Youth Department couch? Check it out! It was made entirely by kids here at the library. Continue the tradition, and contribute to our next creation, by stopping by to try out Angela’s Structo Loom that’s over 100 years old. A great project for developing hand-eye coordination, and easy enough for toddlers to try!

Drop in on the fourth Saturday of every month for a special craft project with Angela! Look out for information at the library to see what we’ll be making. All ages are welcome, but extra little crafters may need an adult’s assistance.

Pokemon Club!
Feb 27 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Over 20 years later, the “fad” that was Pokemon is still going strong, with more ways to engage with the franchise than ever before.

Come share your love of all things Pokemon with other enthusiasts! Feel free to bring your device to play Pokemon GO, you’re trading cards to build decks and battle, or any of the many handheld video games to play and share with each other. As this new club evolves, we may also explore opportunities to watch the anime or play certain console-only games.
