Computers, Copier and Faxing
The library offers several services, some for a fee and some for free.
The library has 5 computer workstations on our main floor that are available for use by the public. These computers offer access to the internet and they have the Microsoft Office suite of programs available for use. Please know that when you use one of our public computers, you are bound by our Internet and Electronic Access Policy.
The library also has one computer on the main floor and two computers on the children’s floor that are dedicated library catalog computers.
Using a Computer
Anyone wishing to use a computer workstation at the library must have their library card or a valid ID with them. Find an available computer and follow the instructions to sign in with your library card number. If you do not have your library card with you, show your valid ID to a person at the desk and request a guest pass. Use the guest pass number to sign in to an available computer.
All users will be entitled to two (2) one hour sessions each day. Users will also be able to request two (2) fifteen minute extensions so long as no one else is waiting to use a computer.
If all computers are being used when you come to the library, staff can place you on a waiting list for the next available computer.
The library offers black and white printing from our public computer workstations. We charge a fee of $0.10 per page and can only accept cash or check. Users will send their print job, confirm their acknowledgment of the fee and then pay the fee at the circulation desk where a staff member will release the print job to the printer.
Laptop users can print from their laptops after installing a print driver.
Once the driver is installed find the Black and White printer.
Print the document and then visit the circulation desk to pay the fee and have your print job released to the printer.
