Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about his process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Registration is required–register at the library in person or by calling us at 413-527-1031 or emailing us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Come join us for the unforgettable debut novel release of local author, Louangie Bou-Montes! Louangie will be talking about her spooky, swoony YA Contemporary Fantasy, TILL THE LAST BEAT OF MY HEART in conversation with Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé, New York Times Bestselling author of ACE OF SPADES and WHERE SLEEPING GIRLS LIE. The evening will include crafts, cake, and time to chat with the authors. High Five Books will be there selling books from both authors! Recommended for youth and adults ages 12 and up.
