Book Discussion and More

We are proud to be joining with more than 25 other libraries from throughout the area and with medical professionals from Cooley Dickinson Health Care to promote the reading and discussion of the book, “Being Mortal: What Matters in the End,” by Atul Gawande.  We will be hosting a discussion of the book at our library on Wednesday, April 13m, from 1-3pm.  Joining us for the discussion of the book as well as the end-of-life topics the book covers will be members of the Palliative Care Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Other libraries throughout the area will also be hosting discussions of the book.  To see a list of libraries and the dates and times these libraries will be hosting discussions, visit this link.
