Returning items in the bookdrop
YES, We are still able to retrieve them and check them in. Thanks for all your patience as we try to make the renovation experience as accommodating as possible!
Voices Carry, a performance group of women from the Voices from Inside program, will be at the Library on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1-2:30pm for an afternoon of readings designed to bring the stories of incarcerated or formerly incarcerated women to the public.
The weather is going to be dangerous on Tuesday, so the Library will be closed. Stay safe!
We’re all writers, and we all have stories to tell — join us and discover yours!
Throughout the month of March, the Library will be host to a Creative Writing Group for 10-13 year olds every Wednesday, 3:30-4:30pm. Although, if your child is interested but doesn’t quite fall within that age range, don’t hesitate to contact us about the possibility of them joining.
Long-time educator Jennifer Delozier will lead kids through different forms of writing with various prompts, while providing participants with the support necessary to get their ideas on paper. Writing can be funny or serious, and sharing is always optional.
Space is limited, so don’t delay! Please contact the Youth Department to register your child: email@example.com or 413-529-1605.
Stop ‘n’ Craft returns after a month off in December, and we’ve lined up something you’re going to love!
Drop in anytime between 9:30am-12:30pm this Saturday, January 28th, and see us in the Youth Department. We’ll be making critters using the heart shape as our base and inspiration, like this lovely fish! If you’re feeling particularly clever, you could even turn it into a card of sorts to give to someone special in your life. We’ll have everything you need, so just bring yourselves (and perhaps any library items you need to return) and have fun!
All ages are welcome at this event, but extra little crafters may need a helping hand. Hope to see you then!
