Bring your stuffie for a sleepover they’ll always remember: crafts, stories, & more! When it’s time to go, you’ll tuck them in and say goodnight. Then, come back any time the following day to pick them up, and see what they were up to after the lights went out. Space is limited and registration is required. Recommended for ages 4-8. Younger and older siblings welcome.

We are delighted to have theater teacher, Heidi Haas, join us for this series! Every workshop includes warm-up exercises, scene work, and theater games. The workshop introduces the value of using drama to express feelings, playfully solve problems, and encourages children to challenge themselves and participate as fully as they feel comfortable. Team building and creating a sense of safety are integral parts of the process and draw on the strengths of the students to foster a sense of pride in what they can accomplish as a group. Drop-in for a presentation by Jodi Ross and Joyce Szewczynski, followed by Q&A. Easthampton Neighbors is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) that matches local volunteers with senior members to provide support that is not available through other organizations. Learn more at easthamptonneighbors.org

Jodi Ross, Administrator/Program Coordinator: From her previous work with Birthday Wishes, Inc., Jodi brings to Easthampton Neighbors managerial and administrative skills. Her experience in the nonprofit world will be most helpful as EN moves to implement new programs and expand our volunteer and membership pools. In her spare time, Jodi enjoys crocheting (big time), reading and traveling.

Joyce Szewczynski, Board Member: Joyce is a retired professor of Spanish who has lived in Southampton with her family for 47 years. She was formerly Chair of the Humanities Department at Springfield College. She is a devoted member of Easthampton Neighbors whose leadership on the Board is essential to the organization. Aside from her volunteer work, Joyce enjoys traveling, reading, movies and visiting with family and friends.
