Bring your stuffie for a sleepover they’ll always remember: crafts, stories, & more! When it’s time to go, you’ll tuck them in and say goodnight. Then, come back any time the following day to pick them up, and see what they were up to after the lights went out. Space is limited and registration is required. Recommended for ages 4-8. Younger and older siblings welcome.

Come celebrate National Poetry Month at our Poetry Party! We’ll gather together for a live zoom with children’s poet, Robert Schechter to hear him share about his new book, The Red Ear Blows it’s Nose  . After that, we’ll make poetry and play poetry games together. Anyone interested in poetry is welcome. The event is geared for elementary ages.

Come try out our new button maker! Design your own buttons, all supplies provided. Ages 12 and up.

Come drop-in to this collaborative multimedia mural-making session! We will have lots of fun and engaging materials and an inspiring winter backdrop of the city for participants of all ages to add to; it will be displayed at the library afterward.

Come prepare for the eclipse with us! Smith College astronomy professor and science writer for children, Meg Thacher, will be talking with families about the coming eclipse and leading us in an activity to make a pinhole eclipse viewers! Join local author/illustrator Jeff Mack to celebrate his amazing new book, learn about artists from around the world, their art and their ideas. There will be a drawing activity as well as time to ask Jeff questions. This is a special event, not to be missed!
