The Easthampton Council on Aging Book Club meets at the Council on Aging every other month on the third Thursday, from 2 – 3:30pm. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Our Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club meets every other month, on the third Tuesday, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. All are welcome to join! Registration is required. Email Elli at bookclubs@ewmlibrary.org if you are interested in joining and to request the next book title.

Join us for a special meeting of the Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club. Instead of selecting a group read for this date, we will be hosting an informal book chat about the best things you’ve been reading, trends in the genre, and anything else your heart desires. Location TBD, potentially offsite.

Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about his process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Registration is required–register at the library in person or by calling us at 413-527-1031 or emailing us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org
