Can an author tell a complete story in just 100 words? John Sheirer answers that question as he reads from and discusses his new book, For Now: One Hundred 100-Word Stories. These stories combine humor, depth, meaning, love, loss, and connection–all in exactly 100 words each. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Help us beautify the Youth Department bookshelves with your art! During this new quarterly program, you will have the chance to make something that will then be on display at the library for about three months. Choose either the Wednesday or the Friday session and come ready to create. For this first display the program is recommended for school-aged children and teens, we will be creating with Model Magic; all supplies will be provided. Registration is required, sign up here in person or by calling us at 413-527-1031 or emailing us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org.
