Come start the new year with watercolors! We will have materials, prompts and painting games. All ages welcome. 
It’s a half-day for Easthampton Public Schools, join us and Easthampton Public Health Nurse, Chris Southworth, for some cozy craft time making things with paper hearts! We’ll start with a short storytime and then dig into making.
Come add to our Winter Mural before it goes up on display! Come drop-in to this collaborative multimedia mural-making session! We will have lots of fun and engaging materials and an inspiring winter backdrop of the city for participants of all ages to add to; it will be displayed at the library afterward. Stay for as long or as little of a time as you like.
Come prepare for the eclipse with us! Smith College astronomy professor and science writer for children, Meg Thacher, will be talking with families about the coming eclipse and leading us in an activity to make a pinhole eclipse viewers! Program geared for elementary aged children but siblings and families are welcome. Learn how to use felt fabric and needle felting to craft a dragon small enough to fit inside its own plastic egg. You will have your very own pet dragon that’s pocket sized and ready for adventures!
