Led by award-winning teen writer, Aliya Axelrad, this workshop is designed to allow students age 12 and up a place to explore their own passion and love for creative writing. Suggested prompts and topics will be provided, and we all have a chance to share and celebrate each other’s work. Our celebration of summer includes a program of making special summer memory jars and an outdoor visit from Crooked Stick Pops! Complete your Summer Reading Program with a fabulous treat for reaching your goal! Make sure all your earned raffle tickets are entered for a chance to win one of our fun, experiential prizes. Come be a part of our teen advisory group! Come and share ideas about what programs the library could have and what we could buy for our collection. We will also have art supplies to explore and snacks to eat…Ages 12+

Come join Easthampton Public Health Nurse, Chris Southworth, and quiet your mind with line design by making gel pen snowflakes! Drop in or stay the whole hour, we will have materials to make beautiful, geometric snowflake line drawings. Program is designed for school aged children and teens.

During this new quarterly program, you will have the chance to make something that will then be on display at the library for about three months. Choose either the Wednesday or the Friday session and come ready to create. For this first display the program is recommended for school-aged children and teens, we will be creating with Model Magic; all supplies will be provided.
