Brian is a certified 200 hour yoga instructor who studied under Kim Valerie’s Iyengar based Yoga Spirits out of Beverly, MA. He’s also certified to teach chair yoga, having studied under Lakshmi Voelker’s Get Fit Where You Sit program. Lakshmi has trained over 1600 Chair yoga instructors and trains out of Kripalu.

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about his process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Come kick the summer off by making forts and reading in the library with flashlights after closing time! We will gather for a group story time and snacks and then disperse to make forts and read together! Bring sheets and pillows to make cozy forts. We will have one flashlight per family, feel free to bring more if you like. Registration required. Lois returns for another artful summer workshop series!
