Our Graphic Novel Book Club meets monthly, on the second Tuesday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. All are welcome to join! Registration is required. Email Elli at bookclubs@ewmlibrary.org if you are interested in joining and to request the next book title.

Learn about these special nocturnal insects, and the ways they have been used as sources of light in many cultures. Discover the habits and lifestyles of these luminous insects, and learn what makes their ‘cool light’ different from other ‘warm light’. Bring a recycled glass jar, and make a firefly catcher to bring home and enjoy this summer! Recommended for ages 5+. Registration is required, stop by the library, give us a call at 413-527-1031, or send us an email at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org.

Come kick the summer off by making forts and reading in the library with flashlights after closing time! We will gather for a group story time and snacks and then disperse to make forts and read together! Bring sheets and pillows to make cozy forts. We will have one flashlight per family, feel free to bring more if you like.  Registration required. All ages watercolor evenings will be a relaxing, fun time for anyone of any age to come and participate in. Come alone or with a friend or family or a group–we will have all the supplies and prompts and you’re also free to explore and use the materials in your own way. Come join us for a lovely time!
