Come join us for books and playtime! We will gather for songs and stories designed for ages 1-3, but babies, preschoolers, and siblings are all welcome as well. At 11am a craft project will be offered.
Are you interested in art, movies, or just want to try something new? Come to the library to learn all about the art of making storyboards! A storyboard is a series of drawings that visualize what shots will be needed before the crew sets out to film. Instead of a camera, we use pencils, paper, and our imagination to bring the words to life. At this program, you’ll get to learn about filmmaking, get a few drawing tips, and make some storyboards of your very own. No prior experience or skill is required! Storyboarding is about visualizing ideas, not making brilliant works of art, so there is literally zero pressure. Ages 10+, Registration is recommended–stop by the library, give us a call at 413-527-1031, or send us an email at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org.
Christine Southworth, Easthampton’s Public Health Nurse, will be here to review basic health concerns, check blood pressure, and discuss chronic or acute health issues.
Calling all builders! Bring your friends and let your imagination run wild. Creations will remain on display at the Library until the Club’s next meeting.
Do you love making crafts or just want to give it a try? We provide the materials, you drop in anytime during the program. Make art in a casual setting with simple materials.
Easthampton Community Social Worker Liz Plouffe joins us for ‘office hours’ in the alcove. Bring your questions about City services, mental health resources, elder care support, or other needs! Questions? Reach out to Liz at: eplouffe@easthamptonma.gov or 413-529-1400 ext. 106
