Join us for an Expressive Arts activity led by Gina Krosoczka! Through creativity and crafts, children will learn new coping skills. This hour-long program will consist of read-aloud, social-emotional activities, and an art project to empower children to move through today’s world more easily. This whole-brain workshop—engaging sound, movement, and visuals—gives children a toolbox with opportunities and ways to cope with today’s everyday challenges. Jarrett J. Krosoczka, the acclaimed and amazing creator of the Lunch Lady series, Peanut Butter and Jellyfish, Hey Kiddo, and so much more, is coming to visit our library this summer! He’ll give a presentation on how he became a graphic novelist, how he writes books, and then will answer questions from the audience while he draws! Registration is required.
