Our voices have power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include not only the sounds we make, but the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take each day to impact our world. Our 2023 Find Your Voice Summer Reading Program runs from Monday, June 26th to Saturday, August 5th. Come to the library starting June, 26th to receive your paper reading log. We have an Adult Summer Reading Program too!

Participants in our Teen Summer Reading Program will continue to track their reading virtually. Please create a Beanstack account to join, by visiting our landing page HERE. Please note: Your account is specific to our library — you must use our landing page to access our challenge, so be sure to bookmark the URL!

Whichever program you join, you will track the hours you spend reading (or being read to) in order to earn raffle tickets! Each program will feature unique, age-appropriate prizes, and you can enter your tickets for a chance to win whatever prize you like!

We also have awesome events taking place all summer long! Check out our web calendar for a preview of what to look forward to. A complete calendar of events for kids will also be included in your Youth reading log and teen events are listed separately on the web calendar, here.

Many of our in-person events will require registration due to our limited space. To sign up for events suitable for kids and teens, please visit the Youth Department, call the Library, or email us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org. Teen-only events feature online registration forms, which you can access by following any of the event links on Beanstack or on our website calendar.

Find Your Voice is sponsored by the Easthampton Pubic Library, Emily’s Friends of the Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
