Come have hot chocolate and use beautiful supplies to make garlands and paper chains to decorate the library and to bring home! Intergenerational program, all ages are welcome.
Come prepare for the eclipse with us! Smith College astronomy professor and science writer for children, Meg Thacher, will be talking with families about the coming eclipse and leading us in an activity to make a pinhole eclipse viewers! Program geared for elementary aged children but siblings and families are welcome. Come be a part of our teen advisory group! Come and share ideas about what programs the library could have and what we could buy for our collection. And then stay for a workshop making wallets out of duct tape! Ages 12+
