Genealogy Help with Brian

Book a one on one appointment with genealogist Brian Tabor. One appointment available per month. Registration is required! We will stop accepting appointment requests at 6pm the day before each Genealogy Help.

What are some things you can work on during Genealogy Help? Glad you asked! Brian can help you get started on a family tree using the census, vital records, family mementos, and the library’s genealogy resources like Ancestry and Heritage Quest.

Please note: If you are not able to make the listed times, but would still like genealogy help, please email Stephanie at slevine@ewmlibrary.org. She will do her best to accommodate you with an appointment at a different weekday time.

Reading in Forts Night At the Library!

Come kick the summer off by making forts and reading in the library with flashlights after closing time! We will gather for a group story time and snacks and then disperse to make forts and read together! Bring sheets and pillows to make cozy forts. We will have one flashlight per family, feel free to bring more if you like.  Registration required. Theater and Improv Games with Heidi!

We are delighted to have theater teacher, Heidi Haas, join us for this series! Every workshop includes warm-up exercises, scene work, and theater games. The workshop introduces the value of using drama to express feelings, playfully solve problems, and encourages children to challenge themselves and participate as fully as they feel comfortable. Team building and creating a sense of safety are integral parts of the process and draw on the strengths of the students to foster a sense of pride in what they can accomplish as a group.
